- Turn left at the 1st cross street onto S Nevada Ave
- Continue straight to stay on S Nevada Ave
- Turn left to merge onto I-25 S
- Follow I-25 S to CO-165 W in Colorado City. Take exit 74 from I-25 S
- Merge onto I-25 S
- Make a sharp right to stay on I-25 S
- Take exit 74 for CO-165 W toward Colo City Rye
- Follow CO-165 W to your destination in Rye

In those days, Rye was known for dairies and sawmills. In the 1960s, the last population of Arkansas River Colorado greenback cutthroat trout were discovered in a little steam. The fish was reintroduced to numerous creeks in Colorado and is now the official state fish.
