John Wayne Airport (SNA)

John Wayne Airport serves Anaheim and Orange County and is the second busiest airport in the Greater Los Angeles area after LAX. The first airstrip on the area that would end up becoming the airport was constructed in 1923; since then, the airport has had a long history. Originally titled Orange County Airport, it was, in 1979, renamed in honor of the famous actor, who lived in the Greater Los Angeles Area. These days, its three terminals, 22 gates, and two runways served over 10 million annual passengers before the pandemic to destinations primarily in the United States, but also to those in Canada and Mexico.
